Who Can Benefit?

Mindfulness is accessible within the family home, is interwoven in corporate management schemes (for example at Apple, Google, IBM), is integrated in premier sports clubs to help players achieve their potential (eg Liverpool football team), is part of the training for the Armed Forces and more recently it has broken ground into the school environment.

Its place in the home:

I have worked with many families in the home environment to help them engage, respond and reflect on family dynamics leading to a more balanced and calm environment.

Its place in schools:

Mindfulness can be used to empower all children to take control of their emotional life, which in turn can affect their learning capabilities. It helps children who are struggling with pressures such as exams, peers, relationships with teachers and body image as well as children who are seemingly ‘doing OK’...and so it's seen as being of benefit to ALL children, rather than being targeted at specific groups.

  • It can help improve reading scores

  • It can help develop stronger attention and concentration skills and is easy to implement

  • It can enable children to sustain more positive interpersonal relationships, both with peers, staff and family members

  • It can strengthen the immune system, so reducing absenteeism

 Its place in the workplace:

Did you know that the cost of work-related stress in the UK is estimated at £3.7 billion a year? (1)

I have run workshops and drop-in sessions in offices around Hertfordshire helping to foster a sense of clarity, confidence and positivity among employees leading to greater productivity. Developing the mindful practices I teach also helps strengthen the immune system leading to fewer days off work.
